This is not an ordinary word search. It's a fair-play manhunt with a spine of real logic, styled like a 1960s FBI case file, and this file was laid out by someone expecting you to trip on it.

Here's the case: a new alias in a new city, hidden among 2,500 innocent names. Your tools are one hundred word-search grids, bigger now at 20 x 20, and fourteen clues, each one true and each one useless unless you apply it in exact order. Find every name, then let the clues do the cutting: not shorter, not backward, three letters too many. The list shrinks, and so does your margin for error.

But you have to be perfect. Fourteen chances to put away the wrong name and let the culprit slip into the next city with your report as a souvenir. The full answer key and final reveal are waiting in the back, so you will always find out whether you closed the file or handed it away.
