You love a good word search. The hunt, the circle, the little click when the last word drops into place. So do we — enough that we always wanted one more thing from them. Not a bigger grid or a longer list, but a reason. A case underneath. Something all those words were adding up to.

So we hid a whole mystery in the grids and made solving the puzzles the way you crack it. The words you find aren't random filler. Some of them are clue to the same case, and that case runs across the entire series, so every grid moves the story forward and you're always closing in. Work them in order and the mystery comes together in your own hands, usually a step ahead of the detective on the page.

That single idea runs through everything we make. Some of our books are gritty: case files, a serial killer, evidence you comb through grid by grid late into the night. Some are cozy: a village, a cup of tea, a body where there shouldn't be one, and a word search waiting in every chapter. The mood is yours to pick. The hunt is always the same.
